Our story
how we started
Sambaçai® started operating in April of 2015 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, like a healthy fast food chain created by Norman A. Sierra. His experience with multinational restaurants was the big component for innovating and reinventing the health food industry, by focusing on great taste, great quality, alternatives full of nutrients and good vibes.

Norman Sierra, president and founder of Sambaçaí, worked for many years, along side his father, in management and operation of over 27 food franchises, then went his own way and became an entrepreneur. Two years later, after studying the main targets for the food industry and developing a concept, he opened the first Sambaçaí on Roosevelt Avenue.

We have an extensive variety of products, in an authentic menu that satisfies every type of palate. We're looking for a different option in the food industry, a balanced meal, that's fast and maintains the exquisite flavor and freshness of each product.

We develop our innovative concept and offer our clients, a healthy product with the purpose of revolutionizing the fast food chain industry. Our franchise's main purpose is to motivate the economy, generating more jobs, giving opportunities to new entrepreneurs while ultimately transforming into a destination of exquisite food for our clients. Our Franchise Fee
Our franchise has a $15,000 franchise fee. This does not include the location rent and the cost to build your store, kiosk or foodtruck.
The franchise fee includes:
- Best distributors to ensure great quality ingredients.
- Best prices for anything that you might need.
- Training to manage your franchise and staff.
- An advertising agency that keeps you up to date with current promotions for every occasion.
- A business consultant that visits the locations to ensure that all of the company's necessities are covered.
- A marketing plan to cover all the company's necessities.
- New alternatives and innovation.
requirements to join our franchise
If you are planning to finance your franchise you need to have the following pre-requisites to qualify.
1. Starting Capital: To start your franchise with a loan, a deposit is required. We recommend at least $30,000 in liquid capital to start your business.
2. Our monthly royalty: 4% Advertising 6% Business Development.
3. Credit: Good credit is a must in order to get the best loan offers.
4. Income: To apply for a loan, you must have a fixed income.
5. Location: Keep in mind a location for your future establishment, we will do the work to make it happen or find you a similar one.
